Graduated with Honors Degree from Wilfrid Laurier in Sociology and Women&Gender Studies with a minor in Geography.
Experience
I have wanted to be a teacher since grade school, and have graduated with an Ontario Scholar award from highschool and an honors double major degree from university. I have taken leadership courses and my strengths are in the subjects I have listed. I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters as an In-school mentor and have been doing this for 2 years. I help students with both social and academic skills. I would love to help any student whether it is with academic skills or skills that can better prepare the student for tests, studying, time-management, organization etc. I can also be a mentor in the social area and help students with communication skills, behavioural issues etc.
