Norman E.
Private tutor in Kitchener, Canada
Education
I hold a PhD in history from the University of Waterloo and specialize in Twentieth Century history. I also have a BA (Honors) from Wilfrid Laurier University and a MA from York University. I have won several scholarships and awards, including the SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship and the OGS. I am also a graduate of the Holocaust Educational Foundation’s esteemed Institute on the Holocaust and Jewish Civilization at Northwestern University.
Experience
In the capacity of an instructor and a TA, I have taught numerous students to write more effectively. Although my specialization is in the social sciences and humanities, my tutoring will also be useful for students in other disciplines who wish to improve their writing and communication skills. Currently, I tutor both university and high school students who want to improve their essay writing or need help with concepts as they prepare for exams.
