I have a degree in Child Studies from the University of Guelph. I also have taken additional training courses in the development of printing, including the Handwriting Without Tears program, keyboarding, and study skills.
Experience
I enjoy working with children and young adults, and find tutoring a rewarding experience. I have previously tutored children and adults in a variety of subjects, from elementary school to university. I also have several years of experience working with children with disabilities in volunteer and employment positions. As a university student, I was an Academic Cluster Leader. This included mentoring first year students in my program, assisting them in the academic transition to university, and leading group study sessions. I also have experience in proofreading university-level essays, including graduate theses.
